Had this happen to us and the lock set screw that holds the inner mag release screw had backed out and it would not push the release all the way to drop the mag. Tighten the set screw or remove both and release will come apart. gerritm. Bolt will not lock back unless you manually push the bolt catch with bolt pulled all the way back. If it locks on the empty mag it should lock with the bolt catch pressed.
