WebI started as a pure mage, but ended up transitioning to a magic-gun hybrid. Trust me, guns are reeeally OP. You can choose the Magic class for that, or if you want a pure gun and traps build, go Technical. Either way, all class does is give you a basic weapon and 2 starting skill points. WebI still like the mage, for his increased toolset with stunning, group-stun, group heal, group armor-buff and AOE-damage, but in the end, I went for a hybrid build with heavy melee weapons. It is pretty fun and makes quite a bit of damage, when you first put stasis on enemies, which increases the damage on the next hit by 50%.
