I bought the car this way so i dont know all of the details on the engine internals (i wish). When i got the car they had the idle at 2,000 rpms in park then when you would drop it into gear it would drop down to 1,000 rpms. I bought a new canister because my original one was bad. For some reason the factory had the Allen adjustment screw turned out 3 1/2 turns.
